As I sit here in shock, I can't help but remember how amazing Sandy Soos was. I had the honor of working with her at Middleport Elementary. She absolutely helped me with a successful year as a first year Principal. She ALWAYS looked out for me, to make sure I was never out of the loop with anything happening at the school. She went above and beyond whenever asked and always had a smile on her face. I loved her trips to Pennsylvania, knowing that she would be returning with lots of chocolate for me. My heart goes out to Ed and the family for such a huge loss. Her family was the most important to her, and she talked about them every single day. God Bless you Sandy.... the world is a better place because of you!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. She was an amazing woman and I was one of those students that said "I just love that Mrs. Soos." Always a smile on her face and always earning the respect of many fellow students. A beautiful legacy that she has left and I am so grateful for being able to see her smiling face everyday during my high school years.

To Tracey and your entire family, I offer my sincere condolences. I worked with Tracey years ago at Hershey Foods and remember her speaking often of her family and her love and pride was apparent. I’m so sorry that you lost this very special lady in your life. She raised a very special, kind person in you; and she’ll continue to watch over you and the family as your own special angel. My mother told me shortly before her passing that everyone going to Heaven gets their own star. When I look up in the sky at night, a special Star seems to stand out from the others and I feel her presence. I hope that you’ll do the same and draw comfort from that. May you and your family find comfort in knowing your mother is at peace and free of pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Blessings

When I started my job at Roy-Hart in 1985 I worked closely with Sandy. I learned so much from her, not just work related but so much more. She had a way of making you feel like the most important person in the room. Some of my favorite memories involved Monday mornings around the coffee pot at school, rehashing the exploits of the Buffalo Bills. I treasure her friendship and our time together. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, whom she loved more than anything. As another dear friend said, "Heaven gained another Angel, one with a little spark to her".
