God's Loving Blessings to Cole, Jan & Bill:
Our Family Movies show the fun your Mom & Dad had with my Parents going to New York City together for vacations together! One segment shows your Mom, Pat, walking with your Dad along the Hudson River when she was pregnant with you, Bill. <3 I have many memories of our parents playing cards together. Plus Both of You, Jan & Bill, being 2 of the many children that my Mom cared for while your parents were at work. I enjoyed being Jan's childhood hairdresser while your Mom drank coffee after work with my Mom. We have many Good Memories! I am praying for your Dad and both of you <3 All of us have been blessed with Wonderful parents <3

We had a cottage across Marsh Creek from Pat and Cole. Our memories of her always bring a smile to our faces. The two of them made each weekend the best time. It was simply fun to hang out with the two of them. She kept us feed and was always looking out for our safety. She would tell us great stories of how they use to bring there vegetables to the public market, they were always early risers. Between the fun night at the campfire or traveling down the creek to the Black North with Cole singing all the way there. Spending time with them is something we will always cherish. Our deepest condolences to her family. She certainly was a wonderful woman and we are grateful for the time we spent with her. I’m sure she will be greatly missed by many.

My deepest sympathies to Mrs. Hardenbrook family.
She and her husband Mr. Hardenbrook were my patients in Albion. Unfortunately after I left the practice I lost contact.
Both of them were wonderful people. She was an exceptional wife to Cole. Caring and loving.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

I worked with Pat at Arnold Gregory Hospital in the early 1960's and later at Dept of Social Services until the time she retired. I always enjoyed conversations with her rather it was at work or outside of work. She was one of a kind and I will always remember her with fondness! May GOD bless her.

I'm so sorry to hear of Pat's passing.
One of my favorite stories I related to Pat is the time when I asked a friend of hers how Pat and Cole were doing. They were fine, she said, along with Bill and Mick.
Hmmm, Bill and Mick Ophardt, Pat's parents? I knew Bill had passed on several years before so I thought that friend was confused. Are you sure Bill is ok? I enquired.
Oh yes, the lady replied, I just saw them last week.
Bill and Mick? I again pressed. Yes, she said, Bill and Mick Hardenbrook! OHHHHHHH. I didn't realize what a coincidence Pat had in her family. Both of her parents were Bill and Marion (Mick) and also her in-laws were named Bill and Marion (Mick).

So sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I met her many years ago when I waitressed at the old Elks club. She was always laughing. On a stormy winter nite, we always knew for sure the Hardenbooks and Klutzs would be in for dinner. They would say.-had to come out to see if it was as bad out as they said it was. Many prayers to you all during this difficult time.
